We had great blue skies on both days of this annual round of the Hillclimb Championship held as usual on the International loop in Mondello, running to 3km in length.
Saturday saw Ken, Ed, Val and Wolf in action, joined on Sunday by Nick Bennett. Both Ken and Val decided they wanted a 360 degree view of the track, both survived, and Ed decided to try the grass shortcut and lost his radiator cap as a result. Wolf decided to be boring and with knowledge of the track for many years did 5 of his runs within 0.1 of a second.
MEC results were on a scratch basis, Ed took home the Frank Nuttall Trophy
