Chairman’s Report:
Overall, 2025 was quite a successful year with improved entries. The Committee worked very well together and thanks go to the President (Ken McAvoy) for looking after the Pre-War/Pre-1955 Class and organising entries. There were three high points during the year, the June race events had satisfactory entries, the Historic Festival had relatively good entries and the Leinster Trophy event included the inaugural presentation of the Bosco Quinn Perpetual Trophy. In addition, the changes to the Sporting and Technical Regulations agreed at the EGM in February 2025 brought greater clarity, particularly in relation to car categories. It is hoped to do better in 2026 and members were asked to try to encourage past members or other potential members to compete with the HRCA .
The Committee members elected are as follows:
Chairman: William Fenton
Vice-Chairman: Edmund Cassidy
Treasurer and Membership Officer: Eamonn Henry
Class Co-Ordinator: Liam Ruth
Sporting and Technical Regulations Officer: Billy Crosbie
All motions submitted to the AGM related to changes to the Sporting Regulations and the HRCA Rules. All these motions were passed on a show of hands.
